The Parish of Albury, in Surrey, is set in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, flanked by the North Downs Way and with the Tillingbourne River running through the village.
The parish has two churches, one set in the heart of the village and the other on Farley Green, both of which have a lively and active congregation. There is a post office, a village shop and a village hall, run by the parish council for the benefit of the village. The parish has 2 pubs: The Drummond in Albury and The King William IV in Little London.
Albury benefits from being close enough to Guildford to have all the conveniences of town shopping and access to a good rail service and the motorway network, but still retains all its rural charm and all of the benefits of country living. The footpath network is vast and the views across the South Downs from various points in the parish are stunning.
Albury is an active village, with a number of community activities such as a cricket and football club, bowls, a history society and local events in the village hall. The Parish Council has a piece of land by the river, 'the meadow', which makes a lovely area for family picnics and village gatherings and there is a small recreation ground close to the parish church.
